Graduate / Junior Front-end Web Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate / junior front-end web developer, who has a solid grounding and is keen to grow their skillset within a key role, as part of a small team, working on a broad range of projects.

The candidate must work well in a small team environment, be confident, driven, and personable. Although we maintain a relaxed working environment, the candidate must be professional and presentable when communicating with clients, and able to communicate ideas and approaches with ease.

The Role

We’re looking for a junior front-end developer to support on our website builds and ongoing maintenance of our website portfolio.

Although primarily a developer role, an eye for design is also required, as the candidate will also be involved with the design process, working alongside other team members.

Main involvement:

• A close working relationship with the rest of the team
• Building bespoke WordPress & Shopify websites
• Maintaining and updating our portfolio of websites
• Assisting with web and interface design

Requirements

• A sound understanding of common web languages; HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript
• Demonstrate a passion for design & development and be eager to develop professionally with our growing company
• Be motivated and well organised
• Basic knowledge of command line is a bonus
• Experience with Sketch App is beneficial
• Be passionate about creating streamlined, optimised, accessible and secure websites.
