Emma Wade moves from Intern to Full-Time.
Speedy! Everything moves super-fast, it feels like yesterday I wrote the blog post for my internship here! Though I’ve just graduated university in visual communication, I really feel like you learn the most on the job. From timekeeping to new software skills (I’d never even touched graphic illustration before Twentytwo!), the industry has really helped me progress with not only my design skills, but my personal skills too like confidence and communication.
Another plus to the job, there’s always at least one dog in the studio! Last summer, my puppy even had a few days at the office. It’s a fun, friendly environment that I’m over the moon to be a part of.
I learnt the value of having a creative team. Even working from home, we’re all consistently reviewing, improving and getting work out daily.
Web Dev support is something I’ve given a go recently, and this is something I hope to improve moving forward!
As I said before, graphic illustration is something I hadn’t given a go until my time here. I actually said in my interview that it wasn’t my strongest point, though, that’s totally different now & It’s in fact what I’m most confident in!
