Oliver has hit the ground running since starting with us in June.
I’ve always been into computers so it felt like a natural fit. I started learning to code using online tutorials and realised that this is what I wanted to do with my life. The combination of problem solving and building something from the ground up really hooked me in – it makes it feel like less of a job and more of a hobby.
I can’t believe it’s been so long! It feels like yesterday that I was sitting in studio 15 for my interview. I can honestly say I’ve loved every minute so far – being able to put my skills to use while also learning new things on the job every day has been a dream come true.
Each project varies so much that you never have two days the same.
While I primarily work on front end web development, I want to improve my back end development skills moving forwards. I’ve written a few internal projects from the ground up and I’m excited to keep building on these in the future.
Being surrounded by so many designers, I’m hoping that a bit of their creativeness rubs off on me too.
A music loving, guitar playing, rugby watching, code writer.
