Digital Marketing is something that has always interested me but it wasn’t until lockdown hit that I was actually able to spend the time learning the subject. I studied mostly Facebook Ads finding it fascinating learning what goes on behind the scenes. I knew I wanted a job in the industry and with little experience an apprenticeship was definitely the way to go.
My time so far has been amazing! I’m able to meet so many new people with masses of knowledge and experience, attend Expos, and really get hands-on in marketing. It’s interesting to see how the projects are organised and how closely everyone works with the clients to deliver the best, bespoke results. It is all thanks to Twentytwo that I have been able to have these opportunities (and this is just in the first month!). I can’t wait for what lies ahead.
One of the main things I’ve learnt from my short time at Twentytwo is how marketing really extends far beyond the industry itself. It is something that impacts people every single day. It is the cause of conversation and it is the seed that influences actions online. I find the way it plays into psychology to be extremely intriguing and how the simple act of selling a product can in fact be complex and intricate. I have learnt about the platforms that drive Twentytwo, the algorithms that drive content, and the campaigns that drive customers. These are all things I want to improve my knowledge on as the apprenticeship continues, and I know I will achieve that with Twentytwo.
Half goof, half gump(tion).
